This last weekend was Savoy’s town festival, called Orchard Days–and it was A BLAST! I’d never been before. But seeing as how we just moved into town, I thought I’d give it a go! We were able to spend some time there as a family but I also had the opportunity to show a booth as a vendor. It was lots of work to prepare and set-up–but SO much fun! For those that didn’t get to stop by, here’s a glimpse of what the booth looked like on Friday evening (after the rain, but before I had to re-arrange it!)
Despite some rain in the afternoon, Friday evening was really pretty lovely! We had a beautiful sunset (the kind that looked like cotton candy) and you could look west over the fair and see families having fun, rides spinning, and smell popcorn and funnel cakes in the air.
It was such a fun, free-spirited atmosphere 🙂 And I had so much fun meeting families from the area! It was my goal to capture some of the fun for the families attending, so I offered a free photo to anyone who wanted it. After all, isn’t it nice to remember the great time you had? There were a variety of silly props to choose from and the kids REALLY got into the props 🙂 A couple of them seemed determined to use every single one at once! Even the grown-ups got in on the fun! Take a look at the silly, sweet, wonderful people who came to Orchard Days:
A big giant thank you to all of those who worked so hard to put Orchard Days together! And many thanks to everyone who came to play with me 🙂 I had a great time and I can’t wait to see you all again next year!!
